1. Turn on the Screen Recording option on the Iphone
The first step is to enable the screen recording option on the iPhone. To activate this simply go to "Settings> Control Center". Then tap "Customize Controls". Here you can see a number of options that you can add to the Control Center area.

For options that are not added will have a green plus sign.  Find and tap the "Screen Recording" option and tap the green plus icon to add it to the "Included" section. You can also rearrange the order in Control Center by dragging the icons at the far right to arrange them according to taste. Also, if you want to use the recording for a temporary screen only, it is best practice to exclude it from the "Included" section for safety related issues if there are multiple users on your phone.


2. Start Recording Iphone Screen
Now it's time to start recording the iPhone screen. If you are an iPhone X or newer model or iPad user with iOS 12 or later iOS 13, then you just need to pull down from the top right corner of the screen, to activate the Screen Recording Option from Control Center.  There will be a Record icon that is inserted into the Control Center. Tap the icon to start recording. Wait for the countdown for three seconds after which the recording will start.

You can also record audio from outside the device, or a microphone. Tap and hold on the record icon to bring up the “Microphone” option, Tap the microphone icon to turn it on and off.

To stop recording, you just have to click the red indicator at the top left and then tap "Stop" to stop the recording activity.

3. How to Edit Screen Recording Results on Iphone
You can access the recordings in the Gallery. Just open the Photos app and you will see the recording you just made. Usually, for professional videos, you'll need to tweak your videos a bit. cut at the start and end to give it the right look.
Just tap the recording and press the "Edit" button. Now you will see a bar at the bottom of the screen with yellow directional arrows at both ends that can be dragged to cut the length of the video.
