How To Save Reels on Instagram - You can save reels or download Instagram Reels to your phone. There are two methods to do this and I'm going to detail how each one works, on iOS and Android, as the process doesn't require using any other app, just accessing the browser.

How To Save Reel Video on Instagram
You can save Instagram Reel within the Instagram app itself using your smartphone. Follow tutorials and save your favorite videos.

• Open Instagram;
• Touch Search to unroll the high level you want to download; Or go to the user's profile and tap the Scrolls icon; Or tap the Recent rolls icon in your Instagram menu;
• Once the video is loaded, click on the three-dot menu;
• Among the options, tap "Save" (the last one).

Where are Instagram video reels stored
To access your saved video reels, just follow the steps below.

• Return to the Instagram home screen;
• Touch your profile icon (your photo);
• Touch the top menu and "Settings";
• In "Account", go to "Saved";
• You'll find the video you just saved in the All Posts folder.
  

For now, there is still no saved reels folder name, which makes things confusing.

How To Download Instagram Video reels
Now, if you want to download and have a copy of Someone's Instagram Reel to share videos on other social networks (remember that sharing third party content without permission is not a very cool attitude there), so if you want to download Reel videos on instagram then you have to use third party apps

How To download videos from Reels Instagram
If you have chosen to install an app, this method is very similar. However, to download videos from Instagram Reels, you need to copy the link (URL) first.

• Open Instagram;
• Touch Search to open the high level Reels you want to download; Or go to the user's profile and tap the Reels icon; Or tap the recent Reels icon in your Instagram menu;
• Once the video is loaded, click on the three-dot menu;
• Among the options, tap "Copy link".
• With the copied link, please paste it to the site or app you want to download Instagram videos from. The advantage of using this site is that you don't need to install anything.
• The file will be saved in your Downloads folder and you can view it at any time.

Can I download Private Reels?
Of course not because Instagram doesn't allow everyone to access private videos, news or stories, subject to the social network's privacy controls.
